No, it’s OK. I let her have the large bed. She, um, tends to roll around a lot when she sleeps and this is just safer for her. And I don’t mind sleeping with my head on the floor because, ah, because I have this condition. Yeah, it’s a kind of brain condition where I can’t have my head on soft things. So it’s fine.

The floor’s much cooler in the summer, anyway.
How embarrassing. Terrorized by a two pound fuzzy potato.
Well the leopard print just says “welcome kitty” all over it.
Hover! 😀 (The one time where the slightly degrading expression is accurate and cute!)
Yes. One time I was watching a PBS segment on the breeder who just won Westminster dog show. And in the middle of the interview she just casually dropped the “b” word a couple of times. The interviewer, and I imagine many viewers like myself, needed a few seconds to reconcile with that 🙂
The reporters that I’ve seen seem to get a thrill out of being able to say that word on air and be appropriate.

Awww – so cute but feeling so bad for the doggie.
And now threadjack!!! Here’s links to video showing the kittens terrorizing my house. It’s gotten interesting now as the little boy has learned to climb the exercise pen I keep them in and try to get out that way. He was hanging like a monkey the other day, lol.
(hope the links work!)
The links don’t work me – I don’t have a Facebook account. But I’m sure they’re super adorable!
Ditto
AJ, you may need to set the audience for those posts to “Public” so that people outside your Friends list can see them.
Thx Mike, I’ve set it to public so it should work now.
Thanks. Adorable kittens!
Ohmigosh! Such excellent kittening in ones so young! They are indeed super adorable!
How can you stand the 24 hour cuteness, AJ?! The white socks killed me dead!
Me too. Love these little guys and I’ll never meet them.
Thanks everyone! They are lethally cute and getting sassier, if that was possible. My house is starting to resemble a three ring circus crossed with a pro wrestling arena. I think I need to buy them a cat tree this weekend for them to attack instead of my furniture.
Lovely kittens in a nice kitchen!
ohmigosh so cute!
Stripes like foil balls, too.
I don’t understand. the cabinet door was open but neither are nosing around, seeing if they like the taste of bleach over dishwasher detergent.
My cats have always seen open cabinet doors as a mandatory invitation to crawl around inside.
My mother’s cat used to get into the china cabinet and yet never broke or knocked over anything.
My parents have a big pantry cabinet in their kitchen; the doors don’t latch in any way but the weight of the shelves on them keeps them closed. Then inside there’s a double set of shelves with hinges in the middle so you can turn them towards you and get to the shelves behind them. Awesome for little-kitty exploring, which Stars and Stripes quickly figured out around 3 months old. So one day they crawled in while someone had them open and said someone (I think it was my brother) closed them in to see if they could figure out how to get out. Stripes figured it out pretty quickly, Stars took a bit longer.
It was a great game until they got too big to get in there. :-/
Oh, my heavens, they are too adorable. Thanks for posting that, AJ!
Lovely babies!
Babies do tend to get their way and when the baby is a kitten doubly so.
Nobody puts Baby in the corner! Unless s/he does it themselves, lol.
Heh, I was just in a meeting and it seems like I always end up in the corner when we meet in my director’s office, and today I made a point of not sitting in that seat. I refrained from actually saying the line, though. 😉
And when you’re a baby cat, you can rest easy knowing you’ll never have to give up that massive sense of righteous entitlement as you grow up.
A quick threadjack – don’t be concerned if I drop off th’ Interwebs for the next week or so – I’m in the middle of moving and I still have to transfer my phone/internet. Hoping to visit Cutetropolis from our local library’s computer center.
The movers did a great job Tuesday and today – even retrieved some family mementos and an antique watch that fell out of the box, and returned them to me. They took care of my stuff as if it were their own.
Meanie landlord showed up in the middle of it, but didn’t stay long. I’m now missing the tip money I had for the movers, and I have my suspicions, but I’d never be able to prove it, and it’s very possible I misplaced it and it will turn up, so I’m letting it go. Fortunately I had emergency cash so was still able to tip the guys. I got my deposit back from previous owner, so that more than makes up for what I’m missing.
Tonight I’m ‘camping’ here in the old apt. and ripping through bags and boxes of miscellany that needs to NOT come with me – I’ll either give it away or trash it. Very motivating. The new apartment looks great, and it’s not over-cluttered either.
Now back to your regular Qte programming…
Best of luck with finishing your move. So glad you had good movers. Nearly seven years on, I’m still marveling at some of the stupid things my movers did!
Sorry about meanie landlord. I hope he’s the one you’re leaving behind!
We’ll miss you, Smartypants! Come back quickly! Good luck with everything.
What DebG said!
An adorable picture with hilarious commentary and hovertext. Between this little kitlet and AJ’s videos, I’m jonesing for a baby again. Not going to happen, but it doesn’t stop me wishing!
