That really is a beatific expression, isn’t it? I remember a series of capy pix entitled “The Capybara: A Friend to All” which seems just right.

I would love to be nuzzled by a capy. They’re so sweet but not soft (sneakpetted one at the zoo once).
I sneak-petted a bison once – actually I just stuck my finger through the chain link fence and it licked me! I’d like to be licked by a capy – or just have a snorgle.
