Rabbit Road Crew Safety

Now, when you’re on the rabbit road crew the most important thing you have to remember is: Wear your yellow safety vest! When you’re working out there in traffic, thumping down the asphalt, you want to make sure you stand out.

Especially at night with all this black fur. (Andrew Y. via Imgur)

But, but, but!! How did the person on the other end of the leash come to have a charcoal gray/black bunny willing to go for walkies wearing a yellow safety vest to which the leash attaches???? I do not have such a bunny!!!! Where is the Justice!!!!!!

Hard to believe that only 40 hours ago I left the Midwest and am now back home in Austria. Some areas got three feet of snow over the past week! Streets and even ski areas are closed because of the dangers of avalanches. And I have to go to school tomorrow, after which I have a (live!) afternoon interview on the radio (what it’s like to be a native English speaker teaching English in Austrian schools). The fun never ends!

    N. Fritz, glad you got home safely!

Adorable bunbun, whether it’s protesting or going for walkies. Do bunnies do that? Walkies, I mean.

People, I’m now the proud owner of two wonderful instruction books filled with fiber cuteness. The first shows how to make animal heads from pompoms, and they’re totally squeeworthy. The second is needlefelted cats that are so lifelike, you’d swear the artist just photographed her kitties. Both are from Japanese artists:

Bunnies do agility! It’s amazing what they can accomplish – we often assume there isn’t much going on between those adorable ears – bunny brains are very small! But as I like to say, they’re as smart as they need to be.

When you have completed a project, you must show us the results of your work!

Bunnies can do walkies. I’ve had three walk/hop with leashes. However, the walk will be at their pace, their choice of direction and their choice when to stop and clean their face. If this bun would be part of a road crew, I’d slow down, as one is supposed to do but that also gives me time to bunneh nab him and take him home.

I have a yellow vest at work, but it’s not nearly so cute on me. (Luckily I don’t have to use it very often.)
