Doggo’s mouth? I think s/he’s really just cuddling the pup and keeping it safe and warm.
I assume the rest of the puppy is under there, but I’m imagining a disembodied wrinkly head floating around the house like the world’s cutest vargouille.
I had to Google ‘vargouille’, which just goes to show how edumacational this place is.

I feel very edumacated myself—but I have to say, I think the widdoo puppeh head is cuter than the vargouille descriptions by Quite a Lot.

That was my parents’ nickname for ME! I grew up being referred to as “Mutt” or “Wart”
That is pretty much the way I sleep every night with a stuffed animal tucked under my chin (no, not when my boyfriend’s here… that would be weird ?)

She’s a rescue, maybe three or four years old, and she looks like a Maltese-Shih Tzu mix. I met her early this afternoon, and her foster mom approved the match, so I’ve had little Miss Missy at home with me for a few hours now. She has a name, but has only had it for a few months, and I’m leaning toward a different name. When I settle on it, I’ll let you all know, and will send Mike a picture or two to post.
So far she’s about the polar opposite of Ricky in temperament, and this is a good thing all around. I loved every impossible quirk of his cranky little soul, but I could use an easier ride this time around. No doubt we’ll face some challenges along the way regardless … life is like that.
She sure is cute. Has a little underbite. Sleeping soundly at the moment.

Thanks. I really wasn’t ready until very recently. Then suddenly I was REALLY ready. And now I’m REALLY wondering what the heck I’ve done. 🙂 I know it will be okay, it’s just new-mom panic. Eek!
