This operation sounds like a real circus.
Nice.
That is so mean, unless they plan to throw the peanuts outside. But in the meantime, send in the squirrel version of the ATF, to raid and recover the nuts.
The title on Reddit says “Squirrel constantly hassles me for nuts – always gets them”
My favorite part is they appear to be in a dog bowl.
Ummmm, you sure that’s not a cat dish?
I am not sure, no. 😉
I think that has now become a squirrel serving dish and someone needs to put those peanuts outside ASAP so the squirrels can have breakfast (and homeowner doesn’t have to replace that window).
At least, it looks warm there with the green grass outside the window.
Of course it’s the cat’s dish. Who do you think put the peanuts in there?
Sly.
Shoot.Missed national squirrel appreciation day. 🙁
21st of January.
Isn’t every day really Squirrel Day though?
At our house it sure is! And any bird that’s interested. We have a nice heated birdbath and we broadcast peanuts and black oil seeds and we have a nice feeder that the squirrels can’t access. It’s a veritable Critter Cafe out there!
I’d invite this little guy any ol’ time.
At a school where I took some summer classes they had friendly squirrels. I asked my mom for some snacks for the little beggars and she thought it a good opportunity to rid herself of some stale chow mein noodles. I was thrilled when one of the little guys actually came up to take a noodle from my hand… And a bit rejected when he sniffed it, threw in on the ground with every gram of strength in his little arm, gave me a death glare, and ran away. Of course I came back with peanuts for the entitled little critters and got a much warmer reception.
cheeky little bugger!
“What a pane!”
Ouch! 😀 😀 😀
Hahahahaha.
WELL done!
Its cute until there’s a huge Scurry of squirrels or two peering at every window peering at you.
And how perfect a name is Scurry?
