I just googled Maru (of course he has a Wikipedia page) and found out his name means “circle” or “round.” Am I the only one who didn’t know that? And was he girthful even as a kitten? I do know the world would be a lesser place without this quirky little furball.
Yes, yes, and yes. Okay, maybe you were’t the only one who didn’t know that. But he was a chunky boy even when he was little.

It’s funny that he just looks like a small adult cat, not a kitten–at least to me. Mugomogu got him at 4 to 6 months, if memory serves, so she doesn’t have videos of his teeny days.
