Revolutionary Cuteness

And this is a portrait of my great-great-great (etc.) grand-uncle Parleur le Bec, a Parisian noble in the court of Louis XVI who was captured by revolutionaries and made to reveal state secrets. It’s said that it didn’t take much to convince him to talk.

    I’m surprised they failed to mention this guy in the recently televised version of Les Miserables. How on earth they omitted him is beyond me.
