Frozen Maru

Like all cats, Maru and Hana enjoy the medicinal benefits of cat grass. It’s a natural laxative, contains folic acid, and it helps cats hack up those hairballs we find so endearing. But sometimes the effects can hit them hard, and suddenly they freeze up for no reason. Are they hallucinating or rebooting?

Maybe it’s a glitch, Andrew Y.

Have we tried turning them off and back on again?

Of course! When in doubt, re-set. 😀

Well, they did their job: They made her look. One of my kitties stares at Ceiling Spiders. Maybe. When I finally give in and look, there is no there there (to paraphrase G. Stein).

To be fair, maybe they’re discombobulated by the half-cat, half-barbie dolls sitting on the right of the screen, and want to pass that discomforting feeling along.

The human version of cat grass (wheat grass) has the same nutritional properties and side effects. Once you’ve tasted it you know why it’s a good emetic. It’s gross enough that no matter what you ate before, you want to throw up or poop as fast as possible.

Hello my name is Kemuri and like my brother (and sister) from another mother, I am a grass addict.

Tried him out on the combo grass and man does he like it. If he doesn’t get some everyday he goes looking for it and I have to hide it in the laundry room behind a closed door. Had to finally throw out the container I had and he was meowing at me most of the day wanting some and wondering why he wasn’t getting his “fix”. Hate to see how he’d react to catnip.
