This little wombat’s in the mood for some combat, and a baseball cap makes for a perfect sparring partner. But the wriggly rascal’s true enemy is lurking just behind: Gravity.

New Dr. Seuss book: The Wombat in the Hat Falls Flat
Yet another illustration of that strange unwritten rule – “where there are wombats there must be at least one woman laughing hysterically”.
How could one *not* laugh at such silliness?
This is a really tiny guy–the hat looks humongous.
It thought about fighting gravity, I saw it in its eyes!
I meant to do that.
I’m feeling a little wombat-ish today: rather chubby, but with some energy.
I don’t think my rolling around on a couch would look as adorable, tho.
Peeps, I have lost eleven of the thirty five pounds the steroids put on me!
Yay!
Congratulations, Duckie, you are doing great!
Terrific! You must be so proud of yourself!
Great news, Duckie!
Congratulations, that’s really impressive! I’ve gained about the same, also due to steroids and other medication, so yesterday I started a diet and this morning I went on a (short) hike.
I wuv widdle wobbly wombats.
Duckie just asked me to post this here:
It was the couch. I swear. Just chucked little wombatses right off.
Duckie – way to go!
AliceShortcake – exactly what I was thinking.
And Allein – you totally have to make a fan-Dr.Seuss book now. Brilliant.
Bebeh wombat’s coat is gorgeous.
