Site “Forgetting” You? Get an Account!

Many users have noted that they have to enter name and email every time they comment. To help prevent this, you may now create a user account with this site. Here’s how:

  1. Look for two new links in the site menu: Log In and Register.

  2. To create a new account, click Register. Create a user name and enter your email address.

  3. You will get an email message with a link. Click the link to complete your registration and select your password.

Logging In

To log in, click Log In on the site menu. Enter your user name and password then click Log In. To skip this step for future visits, check the Remember Me box.

I’ve had a WordPress account since the Old Ranch.

Yes, an account on WordPress.com will work on this site as well. I just decided the time had come to implement a login system here.

I am a little confused… I have a WordPress account. I logged into my WordPress account, then jumped over to Cutetropolis in a new tab. When I press the “login with WordPress” on my Android, I get a status bar “connecting to WordPress” but it never does connect.

So… do I need to register for Cutetropolis separately (fill out my email and request registration, then register with my WordPress account?)

Or, do I start commenting on Cutetropolis over my WordPress account?

    I am so confused.

The main purpose of this new feature is to help the website remember your identity when writing comments. If the site is already doing that, perhaps due to your WordPress account, then there’s no need to create an account here. I’m not sure if that answers your question, so let me know if I can do more.

I’ve been signing in every time (not with WordPress). I will try on my laptop. maybe it’s an Android thing?
