The frenchie fries killed me ded. Unbearably cute.
My dad didn’t like cats and mom was allergic but once I moved out and got my cat Charlie, they turned into wonderful cat grandparents. I have pics of Charlie curled up on my dad’s lap while he read the newspaper. My mom even said that Charlie was the best and sweetest cat she had known.
And I’ll split the “fries” with you Allein, I like the well done ones.
My dad rolled his eyes when my mom said she’d take Stripes and I’d take Stars (I lived there at the time; I thought she was kidding…found out the next day, via a very excited message from my cousin’s wife, that she was not). So Stars is technically my cat but my dad is most definitely her person and has been since she was a baby.
I gotta remember to share that one with my friend. She loves Frenchies.
My mom, who “doesn’t like cats” lived with us and our cat for a while when she was waiting for a senior apartment to become available. When I’d come home from work she and my husband would both be sitting on the couch. Guess whose lap our cat was always sitting on. 😛 And she usually got up earlier than I did, so most mornings I’d come downstairs to find her petting the cat.

I got to rub a little cat’s belly today! Had to get a book for my mom so I went to my parents’ after work. Stars was on the bed and I gave her some head scritchies then slipped my hand under the belly and she rolled on her side (then curled around shoved her head back into my hands). She’s a sweet little fuzz (sometimes).
They’re like chicken fries, but better!
Love those BFF cats who are now coming out of their shells and feeling more comfortable. I have bribed a friend that if she takes my cats in case of my death, she gets a “trust fund” in my will.
Before I played the “fries” video, it thought the front container had a TURTLE in it!
Kar, I, too, have been asked to be a pet guardian, but it’s for birds, not cats.
The “fries” video is massively cute but puppies like to sleep in puppy piles for warmth and security so I hope they didn’t keep them separated for too long.
