Cows in ear muffs, dogs with tongues out, cats who want to cuddle — and cats who don’t.

And finally: Tell Me a Bedtime Story

I wanna hear the one about the cuddly cat who got all the attention she wanted and so she didn’t have to eat the nice man! (via Andrew Y.)

What’s the story behind the guy with a cougar/mountain lion? I’m hoping some kind of rescue place?

This a stunning kitty who is apparently blind.

I hope to God that (s)he doesn’t like to lie on top of him and make biscuits.

I’m much more a dog person but those wholesome cat photos just floored me! πŸ’• And the cats who don’t want to cuddle are a riot – what expressions! πŸ˜ƒ

Calves in crocheted ear protectors! That just floored me.

I love cougars but they are NOT domestic animals and should not be kept in an apartment.
Now I’m done nuffing, gimme more doggy tongues!!

The backstory of that was published some time ago, I think.

The puma was born disabled, with a genetic abnormality that stunted its growth to about 1/3rd the size of a healthy one, with diminished mental capacity to boot. That’s why it’s so cuddly and friendly

A zoo in Russia was taking care of it until the guy in the video offered them money so he could keep it. They took him up on the offer, probably because they needed the money and the space to take care of the other animals. Many Russian zoos aren’t well funded because people don’t like seeing animals in captivity out of their natural habitat.

Yeah I know the story of this particular cougar but I have cats and they are very cuddly, still I do get scratched once in a while when they get spooked or too playful. Now multiply that by a factor of 100 and that is why cougars don’t belong in apartments.

An apartment is one thing but they’ve got a studio apartment? That’s basically a room and smaller than a living area in a zoo.

Thank you! Glad to know that. But, still…😬
