Mini…cows. Oh, come on!!!! This is ridiculous.

*stomps off, grumbling about mini cows and their fuzzy, fuzzy fuzziness and their short stubby legs and omg the little tongue sticking out!*

Though I admit I laughed at the first comment on that one: “Where sliders come from.” I feel bad about it, though.

There’s no denying that mini cows are adorable but too often the miniaturization of an animal results in many genetic defects – let’s hope that’s not the case here. But man, are they cute!!! 😍

I’m so happy that cat found her way back to her original family!!! I once had a dog go missing for about 40 minutes and I thought I’d have a heart attack. Scariest thing ever. 😢

Love the cat/horse friendship and the dog/horse video. Love the blind kitty story, really love the jerk cats. Such entertaining and uplifting links today! 👍

I’m about as far from an expert as you can find, but FWIW, those adorable mini-moos *look* like Highland calves to me. I think the lack of horns may be a clue.

From the little I read, some of the mini cows are naturally small and others, unfortunately, were bred down to that size. Like you I hope it doesn’t cause genetic problems later down the road.

Hurray for Tiger, and Morris and Champy, and Harvey and Ellen! Cats never show remorse for being jerks or anything else. Can I please have a mini cow?

Things were not quite so friendly between the pony I had as a kid and our dog. Like so many ponies, she could be a feisty little thing, and when she caught Ringo in her pasture she would chase him right out. She wasn’t totally mean, though–she’d act like she was going to bite him, then ‘miss’ by an inch. On at least one occasion she reared up like she was going to stomp him, but then pulled her hooves inward at the last second. (My curmudgeonly dad, who loved animals with attitude, witnessed this and never tired of telling the story.) The dog’s reaction was to just keep hustling toward the fence, giving her the nervous side-eye.
