Painted cows beat bugs, fat bears, pibble loves bunny, and Fiona gives mama a raspberry, in today’s links.
And finally: Give Mama a Kiss, Fiona!
Watching on repeat: Fiona gives her mom a raspberry kiss! Sound on! 😂🦛 #TeamFiona pic.twitter.com/64hxXp9u67

Aw, little Munch is so cute. I don’t want kitties to have issues, but I do love a teeny tiny baby.
Fiona raspberry!
When I first looked at the pittie picture, I thought he was resting his head on a pillow. Off to find some coffee and clean my glasses.
Love the caption on the Fat Bear story. Ate the other contestants, snerk.
I, too, did not see the gray as a rabbit at first—just saw dog’s head! Very sweet how they get along together!💕
Fat Bear Week makes me so happy! Congrats to Holly.
Munchie and his “sister” Better, the pittie and bunbun pals–so much love today!
Coincidentally, I’m wearing my Fiona sweatshirt today! It’s very cold in Colorado and my house hasn’t warmed up.
Pittie and bun are so sweet together! Fat Bear Week is the one time you’re expected to root for, umm, shall we say chub? But the best has to be the Fiona raspberry. Pffffffftt! 😜
Fiona Raspberry: No relation to Fiona Apple.
I don’t find Dogs stuck in walls or other precarious situations to be cute.
I agree. Some of those pics bothered the heck out of me. I think we can only hope that the idiot humans quickly rescued their dogs from those stupid situations once they got the “perfect” photo.
Count me in. That picture of the little dog with its airway cut off by a glass was most upsetting. I’d also point out that I have seen many of those pictures before; this time they’ve been given new captions, but they are nothing new. I’m really fed up to the teeth with Bored Panda and Buzzfeed and their endless listicles. I’d rather have fewer posts, since all the really good ones come with Mike’s originality.
My two cents: Your Mileage May Vary.
Sorry, friends! I just had a glass bottle leap out of the fridge and shatter on my kitchen floor. Thank goodness Bibi wasn’t here, she’s at daycare. But it’s so nerve-wracking trying to find and remove all the tiny bits of glass from a floor that is designed to hide all the dirt (it came with my home; I’ll be changing it when I re-do my place). Anyway, it all got the better of me. I don’t think my pulse has slowed down to normal even now.
That said, while having lots of posts here is great fun, I prefer quality over quantity. Mike’s hover line on the picture of the dog and the deck chair would have been ample. I didn’t need all the other BuzzFeed pix, especially the upsetting ones.
Nothing personal, Andrew Y!
I like Bored Panda but I do sometimes think they go a little overboard (overbored?) with the number of photos in their posts.
Sorry about your bottle. I always vacuum the whole area really well after I get all the visible pieces if I break something like that. And it’s just me and my feet I have to worry about.
Thanks, Allein. I think I got it all—LOTS of wet paper towels involved—but I’m still jumpy as heck. I suspect the bottle attacked the floor because of all the construction going on in my building. I’ve noticed my fridge isn’t closing properly lately, but somehow I didn’t anticipate glass objects leaping off shelves to their doom. I’ll have to get the fridge adjusted back to level once they’re done with all the vroom-vrooming around the walls.
Your feet are just as precious as anyone else’s feet. I’m sure Bibi would agree.
I never thought of my feet if I dropped something made of glass and it broke. All I could think of was little paw pads. I would get down on my hands and knees with wet paper towels and then lie on the floor trying to look from every angle for a glint of glass.
Same here!
I saw that about the zebra paint in the news. Maybe I need a zebra bathing suit and camping gear
OH hahahahaha! I did not even think of that!!! But I also think we’d need some body paint. Those suckers really can find the tiny-est spot.
