I love the matching bun and decor.

Another explanation is he fell asleep before all of him got in bed. That “I’m so tired, I’ll just sleep here” feeling

Good explanation! You can never guess why pets lay as they do.
Is your bunny a Rex, Kerry/Julie? He looks like he has such a short, dense coat.

6Rabbits, …. He’s not but I’ve had 3 Mini Rexes and their fur is short , dense and very soft. I love Rexes. Leo is of some mix(?) who our daughter got from a rabbit rescue but when her job involved a lot of travel, she decided Leo would be better off with us. We had already been bun sitting when she travelled. I’m the one who has Pepper, now 13 years old and the two buns share a room, but in separate areas.

I don’t know anything about bunny physics… but that bun does not look like he could fit comfortably in that bed if he tried!

I agree. Maybe that’s why cats take over dog beds. We’ve all seen how big cats get when they stretch.

Leo does fit in fine. He has a lot of fur but is quite pliable. If he’s in his area and I walk in the early morning to clean bun areas or to pen up for the night, he will run to his bed, lay down and look over at me. He is very patient, watching me until I get over there to pet him. If I knew how send a pic of him in the bed, along with my reply, I would.

I bet his fur feels like chinchilla turned up to eleven.

Much cuter than the bedhead I have this morning.

Have a great Thanksgiving fellow Canadians. I am off to my Dad’s down in Niagara on the Lake. I made the stuffing yesterday– I used this recipe https://www.bonappetit.com/recipe/simple-is-best-dressing; I hope it turns out as good as the reviews say it is. My sister just put in the turkey now. Be well!

    Confused birdie on Bunday…

I’m surprised that the hawk, I guess it is, kept trying to get the rabbit statue to act like prey. Even after touching it.

When your garden decor is a little TOO realistic!

    • Murray C. October 13, 2019 / 10:28 pm

That’s amazing! Hawk must be thinking they’re making rabbits a lot tougher than last time I encountered one.

    • 6rabbits October 13, 2019 / 11:12 pm

Reminds of what cats do when they are confused about something. Poor confused birdie!

Gorgeous bunbun! Do black buns have the same outsized personalities that black cats have?

    • Luv Bunny October 14, 2019 / 5:21 am

Yes they do. Leo’s fur can get almost black then change to a siamese coloring. My other bun, Pepper is all black, had 2 black gerbils and our dog was black. Our other buns, gerbils and dog were of lighter colors. I hear black colored animals have trouble getting adopted but I sure don’t understand why that’s a problem. We always went by which animal we fell in love with, not the color.

Hawk looks around. “Nobody saw that. It didn’t happen!”
