Fabulous linkies! Princess Leia’s dad is so careful about her happiness and safety, it kinda choked me up. Bell’s tail is bigger than she is! Now I want alpacas so I can give them funny haircuts. And I’ll spin their fleece.

Re the dog who was left in the car… I’d love to have heard the phone call to the insurance company. π Is Keyboard Cat well known? I’ve never heard of him/her but how fun!!! The lady who risked it all to save a koala – well, she’s my new hero for sure. Love Princess Leia and her dad – how sweet that he’s so devoted to his little furball. And shaved alpacas… πππππ

Thank you, Allein and Mike. I don’t know how I could have missed the original Keyboard Cat – it’s not like there’s an abundance of cat videos out there on the interwebz. π
The late great Keyboard Cat became the star of videos of epic fails, added at the end to “play him off, Keyboard Cat!” Here’s the original: (Update: Allein beat me to it, see above.)
I love the essay on human/animal relationships. Steve McCurry is the Nat’l Geo photographer who took the picture of the hauntingly beautiful Afghani girl that became an iconic cover. My neighbor is good friends with his sister, tho’ I don’t think she knows him other than to have met him once or twice. I do love his work.
And, yes, the woman saving the koala is my kind of hero – dear little thing!

“Bell lives in Japan”
Well, of course she does.
My first thought, too!
I’m getting seriously worried about the Cuteness Gap between Japan and the rest of the world.
Ok, dog driver in links has nothing on this one. And of course, it happened in FL.

Epic. Letβs go riding in the car car! Letβs go riding in the car!
In case you’re wondering why people coined the phrase: What the FLORIDA?
That dog in the picture though looks like he has no regrets.
I recently found a podcast called Fear Not (about why we fear the wrong things) and they have a segment in each episode called “Fear Florida.”
Dogs and cats. Living together. In cars.
