Looks like there’s a new Grandpa in town… Grandpa Runt. I love being reminded of just how compassionate animals can be! Also love the term “ear face” re the Great Dane. And hurray for the truck driver who burst into tears at being reunited with his fur buddy. A lot of guys would be afraid of appearing so sensitive but I applaud him. ❤
And why wasn’t I invited to the baby ostrich dance party?? Waaaaah!!! 😩 Maybe my invitation got lost in the mail. Sure, that must be it.

On my way to work this morning I saw out of the corner of my eye a row of four smallish deer across the middle curve of the horseshoe-shaped driveway of a house. My brain initially registered ‘holiday decorations’ but then I realized they were moving (thankfully not toward the road). And it was snowing just enough to be pretty and not enough to make the drive bad. No pups with them, though.
What song (that we can’t hear) do you think the baby ostriches are dancing to? Any suggestions, Cutetopolitans?

Someone took the video for “Single Ladies” and replaced the soundtrack with the “Chicken Dance Polka” and it was a perfect fit. Sadly, the video was removed so you will have to use your imagination.

Dancing, chirruping, baby ostriches? In the ball park with bees sleeping in flowers!
The dance party had me grooving, Floyd’s ear had me howling with laughter, then Ashes’ story made me sniffle. So many emotions in today’s links. Have to save the others for later.
I think the ostriches are dancing to “Saturday Night Fever” or “Staying Alive.” Saw an Australian dance protest set to “Staying Alive” that was called civil discobedience by one wag, and now I can’t get that song out of my head.
Am I the only one who looks at houses full of ostriches or pigs or wombats and wonders what happens to all the poop?
