Not That Mike The Other Mike

In the early evening, Hana thronged to Maru because she wanted to sleep together. This is either the best opening sentence of a romance novel ever written, or the setup for slapstick comedy as Maru and Hana attempt to share a cat tree. Later they get new toys, and after a little playtime they’re ready for a mutual lickathon. So apparently we’re doing the romance novel after all. Get a room, you two.

    Not sure what’s funnier, the two of them trying to sleep in one spot or the english subtitles. There must be catnip in those kickers as they seemed pretty mellow/lovey-dovey afterwards.

      The caption said they’re Matatabi toys. Not catnip but has a similar effect in some cats.

        I’ve tried silvervine with Lily; unfortunately she doesn’t respond to it. I love Maru and Hana’s reaction!

    Also love the translations! Sometimes they’re funnier than the video. Lovey-dovey kitties make me melt. 😻
