Ah, time to settle in for my favorite daytime drama, The Guiding Leash. I can’t wait to find out if Blake is the long-lost father of Vanessa’s puppies, and to learn whether it was Myron or Rodrigo who left the mysterious bite marks in Mrs. Gloofman’s tires.
Dang, and I wanted to watch cartoons, Sharon H.
I’ve missed The Guiding Leash…
Allow me to fill you in: the real culprit behind the stain on the living room carpet turned out to be not Ginger, as we had been led to believe, but her evil (or at least incontinent) sextuplet Mittens. Myfanwy was stripped of her ‘Best of Breed’ title when she was found to be wearing fur extensions, Sooty and Scamp escaped from a puppy mill and became therapy dogs, and Trixie horrified her humans by running off very slowly with a sloth. Pipkin the hamster was elected president of the United States and led the world into a new era of peace, equality and ecological responsibility; sadly this turned out to be a catnip-induced hallucination in the mind of Mr Jingles, the first feline to qualify as a karate instructor.
Whatever catnip Mr. Jingles was sniffing, I hope he’ll share. Great write-up, Alice. 🙂
