Using a technique he borrowed from “Hansel and Gretel,” Simon’s Cat leaves a trail of cat food to lure his lady love into a romantic rendezvous. Alas, his tender trap is sprung not by a fetching female, but by a nerdy nephew determined to eat his lunch. By the time his date arrives, there’s nothing on the menu but mayhem.

Wow, that umbrella gets some distance, doesn’t it?
😀
Every time I watch Simon’s Cat, I’m struck by the artist’s ability to convey emotion and plot without any words. He’s brilliant.
LOL I was surprised to read that emotion and plot are conveyed without words. Maybe because I had cats for so many years!
