People often use the phrase “like herding cats” to describe a chaotic situation, but contrary to this cliché cats have highly structured minds and under favorable conditions will tend to organize themselves, such as in this video in which a group of cats organizes itself by a criteria so subtle we can’t figure out what it is.
I think it’s from cutest to even more cutest, Erin U.
I love the dangling paws of Second From Upper Left.
The smallest cat got in the largest (or at least tallest) box, so that’s not the criteria. Could we tell if there was there food in the boxes to get them started? It always amazes me how they can turn around in such a tight space. Such flexible spines. (None of them used the Maru somersault; it must be patent pending.) There were several cuts; I wonder how long it actually took. The first cat had been waiting a while by the end.
The one that looks like Groucho!!!!
Yup, Moustache Kitty got to me, too!
Ok, I think I figured it out. All striped cats are on the top and all spotted/splotched cats are on the bottom, except for that one weird one with the moustache who just had to be the odd one out. And of course, they’re Japanese cats. Everything from Japan is super kawaii and orderly.
I think you’re correct Mike. It’s cutest to even more cutest.
That was impressive.
Anyone else here reminded of Hollywood Squares?
I was, a little bit. Would have been better with a third row up top.
Indeed. Glad it wasn’t just me! 🙂
I want the top tabby, second from the right, with the purple collar.
One of the best movies I’ll ever see.
Yes! I could watch for an hour!
