Links: Llama Drama

Llama crashes wedding, smart parrots, dog guards bread, and cuddly cow, in today’s links.

And finally: Cuddly Cow Cranium

Cows can be more affectionate with just their heads than some animals can be with their entire bodies. (via Andrew Y.)

Jake must be part border collie. And how wonderful are parrots!

Bread-guard dog is hilarious. Not sure I’d want to eat the individually-hidden cookies, though. (Which reminds me, I forgot to grab the Girl Scout cookies I meant to bring to work. Darn.)

I love WeRateDogs. I have the daily calendar for the second year in a row, then this year I discovered their Thoughts of Dog calendar so I have that, too. They make me happy.

Cow looks like Chocolate the kitty from the other day.

What flavour are you Girl Scout cookies?

      • allein March 10, 2020 / 9:34 am

I have Thin Mints and S’mores.

(PS to Mike, I don’t know if it’s me or the site, but it’s not remembering my name today ๐Ÿ™ )

Uh-oh. I haven’t made any configuration changes, but if the issue persists, please let me know.

Writing this one from my tablet, which remembers. Just my work computer, apparently. Which I had to change my password and reboot this morning. Maybe that did something weird…

Perhaps your work browser erased the cookie data in which your name/email are stored. If that’s the case, the site should start remembering you again after the first comment.

                Testing…

                edit: Nope.

testing again…deleted all Cutetropolis cookies and starting over

                  • allein March 10, 2020 / 11:43 am

Hmm…still nope. I told it to remember me and everything…

                    The cookies are there, too…

Mine works, alas though, I have no cookies– so you are ahead of me in my books.

Cow is also good at the loving side-eye. She seemed to adore the camera. Some cows just got it.

I think all weddings should include a llama in a tuxedo. Shocky looked very handsome and pleased with himself.

I love the bread guarding dog who has such an important roll!! ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜†

      Ba-dum dum!

We Rate Dogs had me rolling. They really are all good dogs.

Now I’m wondering if our HOA disallows backyard cows. A cow could mow, fertilize, and snuggle! Win-win-win! And free cream for my husband’s coffee. Yep, starting to really like this idea..

AB, have you considered a goat? Maybe like the one with the adorable boots from the other day? Mow, fertilize and snuggle, in a smaller package.

    Kinky Boots, Babe!

    • Jendeyan March 10, 2020 / 1:02 pm

OMGosh! Those boots just KILLED me.

    • allein March 10, 2020 / 1:35 pm

This goat has been my desktop background since the day it was posted.

      • Jendeyan March 10, 2020 / 4:17 pm

Dang! I just found a new background and now I might have to change it again.

“Thereโ€™s nothing that can really prepare you for walking outside and seeing a llama” may be the truest sentence I have ever read. Unless you grew up in the Andes.
