As part of a pilot program aimed at reducing the stigma of in-home detention, Cutetropolis Police Department will replace ankle bracelets with shoe kittens. A spokesperson justified the change, saying “Let’s face it: You’re not going anywhere as long as you’ve got kittens on your shoes.”
Can’t argue with that, Sharon H.
I was thinking over the weekend that having a cat or pup would be really nice these days. Not that spending the evenings and weekends home alone are any different than my usual, but the anxiety level is much higher these days. A little furry friend would be nice.
I feel exactly as you do. A furry friend would be an enormous comfort. ❤
Bibi has heard your call and sends puppy kisses!
Much appreciated, even more than I can say. ❤
My cats also send kitty hugs and purrs!
I believe a pair of shoe kittens would make self-quarantine actually pleasurable! What a precious pair of babies — although saying a kitten is cute is equivalent to saying water is wet!
If water is wet why are my hands so dry????
Confounding ain’t it? 🤔
And he is still there to this day…
Hahahahaha!
I double that hahahahaha hahahahaha!
This is genius Mike! Radical and humane prison reform!
Please may I up-vote this a few thousand more times?
Shoe kittens! Well, my Christmas shopping is done reeeeeeeeeally early this year!
Great idea! If only!
Suddenly a life of crime looks vastly more appealing.
Wow, this post really “blew up,” as the kids say, and shot to the top of the “Best of 2020” list in under two days. It’ll be interesting to see how long it stays there.
