If it makes you feel any better, I managed to get hand sanitizer up my nose the other day. I think that was an extremely “creative” move, and probably weirder than not spotting a homophone slip. (Fortunately Bibi loves me anyway.) Thank you for being a bright spot in a grey world.

I actually had withdrawal symptoms when I discovered the site was down..
In other news, today’s mail consisted of a request to pay a bill I’ve already paid, a hospital appointment for my dad which will probably be cancelled, and a flier from the local theatre – now closed – trumpeting the good reviews for two operas, the tour of which has been abandoned. Thanks for rubbing it in, Theatre Royal!
Oh, and my local supermarket has no toilet rolls, no bread and no flour, but evidently supplies of Cadbury’s creme eggs are unaffected. It’s good to know that we’ve got our priorities right here in good old Blighty. Although having said that, I crossed the road to avoid a coughing child heading for the supermarket after school!
…And schools in England will close on Friday. About time…
thankfully i found a couple of boxes of fire peeps last week. waiting for one box to get stale so i can compare the fluffy vs stale.
The main stores me near are also out of bread, meat and even peanut butter.
If you have a bodega or ethnic grocery store near you , it might be worth a check. The ones near me are bursting with food, bottled water and even toilet paper! Alas no one has hand sanitizer or wipes.
I should have checked the shelves for Nutella because it’s the ultimate comfort food.
Wegmans’s wall of bread was empty on Monday except for what looked like hot dog and/or hamburger buns (I didn’t even walk over there to see for sure).
Is the Governator wearing a Terminator t-shirt? Suspect that they didn’t sell as many “Dark Fate” shirts as initially projected so maybe everyone on the cast & crew got a crate to take home.
