The Sweet Smell of Success

When a nice lady found a group of motherless skunks, she didn’t smell trouble — she smelled an opportunity to save them and return them to the wild. An expert rehabber, she knew just when to shower them with love and when to back off and let them learn the ways of nature so that when time came to go they’d follow their noses. (via Murray C.)

The “you might also enjoy” section recommends the cutest possum post of Cutetropolis.
I have just read the comments there and realised how I miss Gigi and Smartypants.
I hope they will return to commenting one day.

And how rewarding it must be to rehab these sweet little creatures. 💕 Amazing!

Gosh, they’re cute! And my hat is off to that rehabber: “These are not my skunks. They are Nature’s skunks.” What a great heart she has.

Unbelievably cute. “ I’ve been yelled at by lots of skunks” seems to be her life’s calling.
