I can’t take it any more! The humans haven’t left the house in weeks! It’s like they live here full time now, and they keep interrupting my naps to put me in their silly video meetings! When are the humans ever going to leave my house?
Reader Tracy R. shares Hamster “objecting to having to stay in the house. Mind you, he has always had to stay in the house — he’s an inside cat—but that’s beside the point, apparently.”
Wow! He gets some height on that door!
We have a picture of Stripes up on the back door screen (his feet on the window frame) being very very interested in all the bugs flying around the porch light.
Hamster, I know exactly how you feel. P.S. Hamster is an awesome name for a cat!
Oh, Hamster, my heart goes out to you! 🙂
I’m with you, Hamster.
Monday morning giggle. Last night, while making supper, I put a small piece of green bean on Duckie’s food perch. She gave it the most vile stink eye I have ever seen from her, reached out very delicately with one foot, extended one toe and very carefully, using only the tip of a nail, pushed the bean off the perch and onto the cage floor.
“Ima no touchy da thing.”
Little Duckie has quite the personality! Good for her. I like a green bean or two myself, but then I’d probably push bird seed off my perch.
Little Duckie knows what she wants…and doesn’t want!
I wish Hamster could go outside. It looks so lovely out there. Nice rays of sunshine.
I’m with you Hamster. Sometimes when hubby goes out for work or to get lunch, I’m like “TAKE ME WITH YOU!!!, let me see something other than these 4 walls or this neighborhood. Makes me remember there is a whole another world out there still and that the rest of the population hasn’t been taken up like for the Rapture.
Love little Duckie’s story. I had a dog once that would eat dried banana chips so one day I gave her a slice of fresh banana in her food bowl. Well, she at least tried it, took it in her mouth, rolled it around a few times, then walked over to the carpet and spat it out. Guess she didn’t like the texture.
Poor Hamster. It’s tough being a cat.
Megan sent me an example of a cat who decided to take control of the situation:
If it were a black cat, it would be Scorpius!
