Glide Path

After a rocky start, a sugar glider earns its wings

When an emaciated baby sugar glider was found outside a pub in an Australian town, it was taken to a wildlife rehabber who kept it in her shirt for warmth. In time the little flier put on weight, made some new friends, and learned to glide right out the door and into a wild wonderful life. (via Murray C.)

The cute is strong today. First a bushbaby and a walrus, then ducklings, now sugar gliders. Are you trying to kill me with cuteness Mike?? Cause it’s working!

Although I am not ready yet to be released back into “the wild” I had happy tears for little Vern, watching him leave through the open door to freedom.

One of my coworkers has sugar gliders, and I’ve been jealous. Now I’m really jealous because this lady got so many cuddles. Good luck, Vern and friends!
