How to Wash Your Pandas

Pandas are naughty, fun-loving creatures who love to roll around a lot and get dirty, so it’s important to know the proper cleaning method in case you ever find yourself in a group of dirty pandas. Follow this step-by-step guide:

  1. Start the wacky panda-cleaning music
  2. Soak your inadequately small panda-cleaning towel in water
  3. Splash pandas with water, then soak
  4. Finally, squeeze pandas dry

I want that job, Andrew Y.

I just found my dream job.

When I retire, I want to do this.

I saw the word “pantaloons” earlier and now I’m thinking about pandaloons.

So of course I googled that. You’re welcome.

Reminds me of the Woody Guthrie song with the verse โ€œOh Mommy oh Mommy, Come smell me now – Come smell me now – Come smell me now! Oh Mommy oh Mommy, come smell me now! Donโ€™t I smell nice and clean-oโ€.

It’s impressive how good young pandas are at un-helping. They managed to literally pile themselves in the single least convenient place for them to be.

At least she’s using a cloth and water, and not licking a convenient napkin and scrubbing in public. And at least the pandas are safe from what my Nana used to do to us—-pull up shirt and down pants (just a bit), tuck undershirt into underpants, then pull down shirt and pull pants up over shirt and smooth everything neatly, no matter who was watching. Glad I was only five.
I wonder how absorbent panda fur is?
Totally off topic, but almost as much fun as watching this: hubby gave notice to his boss yesterday, and now the entire management at the shopping centre is boiling with fury at his supervisors for whatever they did or did not do to result in this happening.

Duckie that might have been an excruciating ritual for a five year old…but isn’t it a warm fuzzy memory of your Nana now? ๐Ÿ˜
And yikes! Interesting times for hubby!

I think the term “herding cats” needs to be updated to “herding pandas” as the go-to for any ridiculously hard or impossible task that has lots of interruptions. Both the pandas and helpers are too funny!

There’s a certain level of well meaning futility, lack of sufficient equipment vs the number of pandas that results in unintended comedy.

The panda babies are very good-natured about being handled pretty brusquely.

I especially like the one that was picked up by 2 nannies and unceremoniously dunked in what seemed like a puddle. Or maybe it was a hot spring, looked like some steam was coming out of it.

Iโ€™d say some of them were handled quite roughly by a person who wasnโ€™t even smiling. I didnโ€™t like this video at all. I seem to be unhappy every time I visit here lately. Donโ€™t worry, as I usually come here to feel joy but have now been upset multiple times over a short period, coupled with the fact that Iโ€™m sure most of you would prefer not reading more complaints of concern about videos and/or pictures that you are enjoying, Iโ€™ll stay away for a while. ๐Ÿ™
