Dog cheats TP test, red panda born, dog-ppelgangers, and devastated doxie drops duck doll.

And finally: Just Like That, His Day Was Ruined

I think a moment of silence would be in order, Allein S.

The baby panda is so FLUFFY! ๐Ÿ˜ Thereโ€™s a second video afterwards where the baby is a little older, and you can sorta see reddish in him/her. So sweet!

Awesome links as usual. So much fun and cuteness. Except for very sad face of puppy who dropped the toy!
Glad I checked in on Cute this morning. Feeling really hard done by… trapped AND persecuted. I just finished texting with a group of friends that decided that they didn’t care if I wanted to distance they were going to hold our annual get together without me. Awww. Some friends. I am extraodinarily hurt by this.
Cute to the rescue! Thanks Mike! ๐Ÿ’•

Oh, Dulcie, I think your friends are foolhardy. I understand why you feel hurt, but in your place I’d also feel smart. If you really want to attend, why not ask them if they can set up a video hookup so you can say to everyone and they can say hi to you?

Or set up a Zoom cocktail hour and enjoy some quarantinis and when-the-chips-are down chips with other friends.

Bibi has offered to “water” their lawn, but I reminded her we’re sheltering at home. So please take the thought for the deed.

Hugs to you, Dulcie. I know how it feels ๐Ÿ™

My friends did something similar a few years ago. They went to my favourite lake for a daytrip on my birthday, they just “forgot” to invite me. It was in 2015, still not forgotten.

      • Nancy July 13, 2020 / 9:44 pm

Same here. Went to where friends were supposed to be, no one there, only to find out days later that they went to one of their houses. Still stings. Donโ€™t know about the others but I havenโ€™t done anything with them since. Not invited.

        • Dulcie July 13, 2020 / 11:59 pm

They deliberately mislead you?? Oh my god these are not people you want as friends anyway. But that still doesn’t make it hurt any less I’m sure.

    • debg July 13, 2020 / 3:34 pm

Dulcie, hugs. I agree with R&B’s mom–your friends are foolhardy. And a Zoom could help?

  8. Dulcie July 13, 2020 / 4:37 pm

EMS! That’s just brutal! On your birthday? That would be a tough one to forget.
DebG and Ricky’s Mom – I had been thinking about doing the zoom thing before they made the proclamation. I had some fun ideas too! But it has really taken the wind out of my sails – these were people totally on board with all the rules until now. I guess the extra little jab is the fact that we certainly could have done a get together, perhaps not the overnight in tents, while distancing. Our neighbors had a baby shower in her backyard with 12 people placed around the perimeter. Then there was a point where they all got up and played musical chairs so people could visit others, armed with spray for the chairs and everthing. And it sounded to me like they had a great time.
And even though we are very low in numbers and things have opened up, the recommendation is still to distance! How else do you keep it low and people safe.
Oh well, must get off the soapbox!
Just wanted to say that your kind remarks were much appreciated… special thanks to Bibi for that awesome idea!! And yes it gives me satisfaction to take the thought for the deed ๐Ÿ˜Š!!

Ok, so now we’re having COVID parties.

This is up there with eating TIDE pods and injecting bleach to fight off infections. When did this become a race to win the Darwin award.
