It is a glorious summer day. Maru scales a ladder to survey the beauty. The wind flutters the leaves. Birds sing in the trees. One bird in particular. It calls him cuckoo. Maru does not like this. He is not cuckoo. He is merely a bit eccentric.

I love Hana’s plaid!
Maru’s so floofy you can barely see his harness!
I want to go live in that second video.
I’ve never seen them in harness. They seemed very comfortable. Where did Mugumogu take them?
Not sure where she took them, but Maru almost always has a harness on when he’s out
Started out way back in 2009 O_O

I love this:
I bought this harness for the disasters such as earthquakes.
But Maru disliked harness first.
Now, when he watches this, he runs to the window.
Because he remembers the garden.
It’s almost like a poem.
Meaning outside, but not in their garden? He’s not wearing a harness on the ladder in the other video in today’s post.
Yeah, only sometimes while in their garden, but I assume all the time when they’re not around their house. When he was little I’m pretty sure he used to wear it while they were in their home garden too so he could get used to it. Probably likes it because he knows it means he gets to play outside XD

I really wanted to see Mugomogo carry Maru down the ladder.
I think the nature videos of these two are my favorites. Love the shot of Maru from underneath, with his fur sticking out and his paws dangling. 😻
Me too.. I mean even if we only ever get to see Mugumogu’s arms, I’m sure she could show him getting carried down XD
I was on a stepladder yesterday and really wished someone would carry me down, so I sympathize with Maru.
These guys amply demonstrate why everybody wants to be a cat. Such a soothing day for them–and us!
