I’ll Tumble for You

When a cute kitten wants to play, but the dog’s demeanor says “go away,” the persistent puss tries everything to get the dog engaged — nibbling, nuzzling, whapping — but it’s a well-timed tumble off the couch that breaks the ice, and in a little while they’re just a couple of cuddle buddies. Those two are about the sweetest pals I’ve ever seen

    Um, doesn’t panting indicate stress?

I was concerned too but then the panting stopped and the dog seemed happily playful

It might just be too warm inside the house.

Yeah, if these guys were in my house, they’d join us all in panting.

Panting can indicate a number of things, most of them cause for concern, and that does include stress. A little bit of panting is normal after play/exercise. There are some cuts in the video; I’m gonna be charitable and assume the dog was looked after and got a break when needed. (My first reaction was worry, too.)

Kittens discovering they have tails–gets me every time.

Goldie’s nose must be cold, or kitten has a ticklish tummy. The dog’s “I will mush you with my head” approach is also a good way to keep kitten from biting. I’d forgotten how bitey kittens can be.

These two are very cute together.
