At least 3 cats in that video looked just like my long-gone and never-forgotten Madeleine.
My current brood often knead and suck on bears. I’ve never seen them cuddle one, probably because I always have them in my arms. One cat from long ago would hide under the bear on my bed.
None of my cats were ever interested in bears or other plushies. Felix had a favourite baby blanket, Tigger chose one of my jumpers to suck on. Tigger had a favourite pillow. Unfortunately that relationship with the pillow quickly turned into an adult one, causing us so many embarrassing moments in front of guests… Anyway some measures had to be introduced and Tigger could get Pillow back only behind closed doors.
I have just imagined Mike’s beautiful Teddy Bear hugging a teddy bear! Teddy Bear is a lucky cat, Mike must be at home a lot at these difficult times.
My Marci still cries after me every now and then when I go to work, he also loved home office while it lasted.
The last cat in the video, when it hugs the stuffed toy tightly — that is the cutest move! Sometimes when I’m scratching my Teddy Bear on the chest, he will hug my hand that way. (and yes, I’m home a lot, and TB needs to be in the same room with me at all times.)
Felix hugged my hand that way, sometimes I got a love bite or two as well 🙂
Stripes had a frog.
