I’m always impressed with cats’ positive body images.
My offended sensibilities! Privacy tails, please. I love when cats loll around like this, sometimes it looks like they’re broken. Can’t think these positions are comfortable but then again cats are part liquid.
Still got the smoke haze this morning but thankfully not much ash or smell. I think the fire near me is about 50% contained but we’re getting smoke from the rest of the fires up the coast. Other good news is temps have dropped and we’ll be in the 80s for the next few weeks.
Found another nursery near me that specializes in only succulents and yippee no more driving an hour to buy plants. Going to check it out today and then tomorrow going to look at a new to us car. Hubby persuaded me we need a convertible to drive around on the weekend instead of the big truck and it was cheap so we’ll see.
I got a 5% off coupon from Adadgio.com for my birthday (which expires the day before my birthday…) and I am trying to convince myself I do not need those cute jars…or that vanilla tea candle…I do, however, need some tea filter bags and at least some chocolate truffle tea. And maybe a little ginger peach. And paying for shipping for those is a lot cheaper than adding stuff to get the $49 needed for free shipping. And I already have more than enough tea in the house.
Winter’s coming, You’ll need more tea and you deserve to treat yourself.

We did get some snow earlier this week. It hopefully slowed down the wildfires in Colorado, which has affected air quality in my neighborhood. Not nearly as bad as on the West Coast, but the rain of ash and the orange skies on Sunday were not fun.
I’m taking a long weekend to enjoy my birthday on Monday. More spinning, plus some good food, plus knitting. Do I know how to party or WHAT!
