Oh Lordy, so much cuteness so early. Great way to start a Monday. Inter species frolicking! Disney animals come to life! And momma panda had me snort laughing. The ear dragging and then running to bring him back, so typical of moms everywhere – “Get back here, you’re not clean yet!!”
The only Burroughs book I ever got through was his cat book, just didn’t identify with destructive drug use and heavy delusions.
And what could be more femme fatale than a cat? Mysterious, slinky, can never understand their motives, can walk through a crime scene without leaving a whisker, just as likely to claw your face as nuzzle it (often within the same minute), and you never know what secrets they’re keeping in the dark. Not to mention killers without a conscience, be it bugs, dishtowels or fluffy slippers.
Chopped onions everywhere! The video of the flying squirrel eating the pine needles was so gorgeous it was touching. The song of the singing dogs is really moving. And the piece de resistance – the rescued baby rhino playing with his lamb best friend. He copies his friends jumping and hopping – I actually cried. I’m going to have to lie down.
Mama Nacoma and her kittens are dedly cute. Warning: don’t watch their video unless you want to melt your brain. Super-purrs, waving paws, etc. I’m done for the day.
