I could do that, love a hamster. But maybe not the calm part, considering all the uncertainty about getting together with family for Thanksgiving.
We’re just going to my parents’ house. Just the four of us. And the cat, if she deigns to join us. We’ll eat in the living room; more space.
We’re having no one this weekend. Same number of people we had for our Thanksgiving last month. And I don’t imagine things will get better for Christmas. That is if we follow the recommendations. βΉοΈ
Other than one restaurant dinner (outside on a nearly-empty patio) with a friend a couple weeks ago, and one takeout dinner at another friend’s (in her kitchen because it was raining but with the window and back door open) back in August, they are the only people I have eaten any meals with.
Normally we’d go to my uncle’s and there would probably be 15-20 people. Not happening this year.
You’ll miss them I bet.
Yeah. π
I won’t miss the hour drive to the maze that is their gated community, though. (Their kids are staying home with their own kids, too.) Hopefully next year will be better.
Hang in there guys, and yes this sucks large. Our region went into lockdown today and I doubt it will be out after the 28 days prescription… wash your hands ocd levels, keep the windows cracked when your social bubble is about, and keep masks on when out running errands. Ya, agreed at massive shitness and keep ‘kicking at the darkness until it bleeds daylight.’ We (I) can do this.
SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE…..πΉ
Love the clearing of the throat, nice touch. What an adorable little guy! And his crown is beautifully made and such a good fit.
Adorable hammie. And his announcement reminds me of a story from the history of my employer. We make a loom called the Baby Wolf. Years back, we sent a postcard to someone in sheep country announcing the imminent arrival of their Baby Wolf. The postal carrier was very concerned.
