There’s a new kit in Maru Town, and her name is Miri. Rescued from a rain gutter at less than two months old, Miri joins Maru and Hana in their playroom, and if this video is an early sign, she’ll have a tail fixation to match Maru’s box obsession.
And how are Maru and Hana handing the new arrival? Hana keeps a safe distance, while Maru may have gone barking mad.

That little gal has certainly landed butter-side up! And she’s smart! Look how deferential she’s behaving toward Maru – it’s all a plot, I tell you!
Miri doesn’t realize (yet) that she’s at a perfect home with everything ANY kitty would need or want. What a lucky kitten!! It will be so much fun watching this three-some as she grows. I told Hanna she was about that size when she first joined the Maru crew but she looks like, “What’s that little wiggly thing?” And, Maru, ‘showing her who’s boss’ attitude and Miri looking at him like, “so deal with me. I’m here to stay.” LOVE IT!! 🙂
Wow. I had so much to do today, but Miri just turned my brain to mush with all that cuteness! I can sit here for another hour and recover while watching that cuteness roll all over the place!
Oh my goodness, another cutie in the household. Watch out Maru she may even outcute you. It’s kinda funny at the end how Maru has a look on his face like he knows how cute she is and that his days as king might be over.

Unbearably cute. And Miri certainly did win the kitten lottery. I predict she and Hana will be wrestling before long, but Maru will be the first to wash the baby (hoping she has smeared food on herself).
