Here’s a bunny who takes the idea of “falling asleep” just a bit too literally. Wait for it…

Aww, poor bunny. He should come sleep in my lap; I’ll keep him safe.
Oh my, what a rude awakening, hope the precious bunneh didn’t get hurt. Mine will sometimes tip over but they’re on the floor, or by a chair or table leg, so no harm done.
You really see the family resemblance between bunnies and capybaras here cause bunny looks like a white, fuzzier capy.
Oh poor baby! I knew he was going to fall/lay down by how tilted he was at the beginning but I thought it was only to the side. It’s like watching a toddler fall out of bed, hope no harm was done except to his/her pride. Wonder if bun buns act like cats after doing something like this … stalk away with a determined air and the “I meant to do that attitude”.
Yes, they do! My bun hasn’t fallen off of anything while sleeping but has done some other things that he shakes his body and then licks something, with a “Naturally, I meant to do that” expression!😁
Sometimes when I’m just falling asleep I feel like I’m falling and I wake up with a start, that poor baby had that happened to him for real. Talk about a living nightmare.
I hate it when that happens.
I trip over things in my sleep. And almost always jar myself awake rather dramatically.
Sometimes I hear a loud clapping noise in my head. It’s so weird what our brains do in that in-between time.
I know what you mean. Phew, I thought I was the only one who heard that kind of sound and was wondering if I was starting to hear things. 💁🏻♀️
Fun fact: It’s called Exploding Head Syndrome. Which makes it sound so much scarier than it is.

That’s amazing. I have never heard of this. Did you go to a doctor when this started happening to you and find about this that way?
Just Dr. Google.
The worst I just had happen was having an odd dream that some homeless guy was camping out in my back yard and then awoken quite suddenly by rustling outside your window at 4 am. Trust me, your brain doesn’t go any where good at 0 dark 30. Took me about 5 minutes of peering out windows and doors to realize the wind was rattleing the pop up canopy.
Poor baby! I would snuggle you while you sleep so you don’t fall.
