I have a collection of owls figurines that I pick-up as souvenirs from my travels, I found one in pretty much every country I have visited.
Owls are amazing. They have incredible presence and star quality. It’s hard for me to believe that, since they’re birds, they weigh almost nothing. They seem more like lions.
The Zooborn video needs to come with a disclaimer about lethal cuteness ahead, your head may explode. But at least I’ve got a name for my new rock band – Screaming Hairy Armadillos.
Dog video was another lethally cute video. And why don’t I, major owl lover since childhood, have owls come sit on my head?! Sits pouting in corner. I have owls everywhere. If people don’t know to get me for presents, an owl something is always a safe bet.
My mom used to collect owls, too. She doesn’t anymore, but when we were kids owl stuff was a sure bet.
I’m rather impressed by the snooze button technique, and intend to try it out on large carnivores and noisy people on public transport.
