Shields Up, Maru

In the once-tranquil home of Maru and Hana, kitten Miri has become such a frisky force of nature that the grownups must wear protective cardboard shields around their vulnerable midsections. However, even this proves inadequate.

Later, a stray bottle cap demonstrates to the pair that the best protection is a good distraction.

    Hissy Hana!

I love how kittens go from ๐Ÿ˜› to ๐Ÿ˜ด in five seconds.

Grown up cats can be the same way. My grey tabby is 20 now (in human years) and goes from amused to sad every time his pet spider in the kitchen scurries away from his thwaps.

Poor Miri! She took Hana’s chastisement to heart – for a few seconds.

Oh, snap Hana! LOL. That was a surprise.

Maru and Hana are like an old married couple at this point, babysitting a cute, Tasmanian devil.

When Miri was playing with the bottle cap she reminded me of my cat, except mine is an eight year kitten. ๐Ÿ˜น

Maruโ€™s grumpy face in the first video! I think he got tired watching Miri run around.

My coat of arms has a kitten rampant.
