I haven’t even finished reading it yet, but I’m loving the writer of the llama story. “Gizmo, whose coat is a patchwork of white and brown spots and whose face wears a permanent expression of mild offense…” 😆
So many good feels this morning. Llama back home, YEAH!! Glad they had the resources to find him. I’ve been watching Yukon Vet on Disney and they’ve even used drones to help herd horses?, cows? one of the two instead of trying to chase them down via ATV or helicopter.
If I had a bear come hang out with me, uhmmm I don’t think I’d be as calm and able to videotape. I’d probably just be like a fainting goat and fall over.
On the pet rescue link, the first video called Model Dog cracked me up and the owner’s commentary, hil-a-ri-ous. And at the end, talk about a bum rush by the dog.

Sounds like one–okay, several–of my cats. They drool when they get really happy.
Well fellows members of the Cute, I just had an interesting morning and had to share. I was working in my office and kept hearing noises in the house and just dismissed them as the neighbor in his yard. When I finally went to investigate, boy was I wrong!! I had a hummingbird in the house! 😲 Guess that’s what happens when the weather is nice in SoCal and you leave your front door open.
Took a few minutes but finally figured out how to liberate him. He was sitting on a light fixture in the kitchen when I approached with a large piece of cardboard and the net skimmer from the hot tub. The bird was actually pretty calm about these 2 things coming towards him and allowed me to basically make a hummingbird sandwich. He clung on to the net and was sooo happy when I released him outside. I think he had a friend waiting for him because I saw 2 birds take off together. Screen curtain went back up on the front door to prevent anymore illegal incursions and giving me heart failure. Now back to your regular program of the qte.

I would like a hummingbird sandwich. Though the bird might not like the weather in CO right now! Sunny and bright but much colder than southern CA.
