Time for a visit from Miss Vera Bunley! Recently she ventured into the bedroom and learned she could crawl inside the box spring. It was like having the world’s largest bed bug crawling around underneath.
But her visits have been good in another way. Vera’s black fur makes her hard to photograph in low light, but the bedroom has a big window that lit her beautifully, letting me catch her in this perfect pose:
She has little toe socks!
She is stunning! What a beauty.
Oh my goodness! Miss Vera is quite the flirtatious little lady! I love the way she hold her front paws together and tilts her head back and gives a challenging look!
I was thinking the same thoughts. With a slight disapproving look but with a come hither pose. Vera should be on a bunny calendar, as bunny of the month. I just want to just take her and snuggle, boop and kiss her cute nose, ears, mouf, toes, etc… too cute.
She’s darling! Looks like she’s saying “Make sure you capture my good side”.
Would you look at her! Such a seductive little pose, very come-hitherish. And cheeky!
Yes, very cheeky!
She is sooo adorably cute, and it seems like she is acclimating just fine.
I can’t believe she got into the box spring! But rabbits will burrow anywhere they can!
Charming pose Vera! You’ll be on the cover of BunElle soon!
Awwww, what a beauty! I love her head tilt. 🐰💕
Such a beautiful bunny!
I love the little white nose, it’s like a bullseye for booping.
“I’m ready for my closeup, Mr DeMille!”
I love seeing so much of Vera! How are she and Teddy doing?
Gorgeous girl. I have the same problem photographing my black cat.
Vera and Teddy are getting along adequately but they’ll never be close. Teddy gamely continues trying to groom her and she pulls away and runs. This frustrates him and so sometimes he chases her instead, which of course doesn’t help.
But they can be in the same space together and be relaxed. Sometimes Vera will timidly walk up to Teddy and sniff him when he’s napping.
Sounds like a comfortable situation, though Teddy might miss having a bunny buddy he can wash.
It’s good for them both I think to have a friend their own size who smells and hears the same things. I remember Minkette and Wacket would react in unison to something and I had no idea what it was.
