Maru is depressed. The arrival of a youthful new presence has left him feeling old and out of fashion. Perhaps, he muses, the subtle addition of a hairpiece will restore his long-lost virility and bring him renewed confidence.
After a brief moment of reflection outdoors, Maru realizes that he and his fur are perfect just the way they are, as we can see for ourselves in this extreme fly-by.

I know! For a second I thought it was an optical illusion, but no – Kitten Miri will soon be just Miri. And Maru will continue to be devoured by predatory boxes.
