Here’s an unusual treat. Reader Muppet2171 has shared many pictures of her cat Teller, but now and then she shares photos of some of the cute dogs that she meets, and none could be cuter than Miss Lovey, who she describes as “My puppy therapist!” Here she is “being held still for the photo by her mommy and being so thrilled by that.”
Reminds me of Pablo when I would hold him upright like that.

I do find dachshunds awfully hard to resist, even though they are not a breed I care to adopt. They have SUCH pretty faces, and SUCH lovely puppy-dog eyes!

British Columbia’s COVID restrictions are being lifted! It’s a four phase plan, with things hopefully getting back to “normal” by September 7. So exciting!

New Jersey is dropping the mask mandate for vaccinated people on Friday, apparently. I’m not ready. Also I don’t trust people.

Québec is also starting to lift some restrictions, no more curfew starting this Friday and restaurant terrasses can open and on Monday indoor dining will resume! Other venues will open like bars starting June 7th.

CA is lifting it’s mask mandate mid June but right now in Yuma, a lot of places are not requiring them so it’s been nice but a little weird. My brain is still trying to get used to being in places with other unmasked people without it screaming “Stranger Danger!!!! The virus is everywhere so don’t breath in their air!!”
