Tragedy befalls the Maru household as Maru falls victim to that most deadly of sea creatures — the land shark. Unbound from its watery domain, the land shark is free to hunt door-to-door, often deceiving its prey by pretending to deliver a candygram. Fortunately, Hana comes to Maru’s rescue, unaware that the devious shark has already claimed its next victim.
Later that day, Kitten Miri does a bit of hunting on her own, as she stalks the wily and elusive jumping mouse.
The family grows tired of the indoors and so they venture into the Magical Mushroom Forest. Maru and Hana stay close to the mushrooms in hopes of catching an elf, while Kitten Miri gets high in a tree.
Just a typical day in Maruland, Andrew Y.
I don’t know which is cuter: Maru snoozin’ under the shark blanket or splayed out on top of the mushroom cooling off his fuzzy belly. 😻
Sweet Hana sitting next to Maru on the ‘shroom was adorable.
I hope Mugumogu knows how to climbs trees herself, because Kitten Miri is going to figure out how to get to the top any minute now.
Maru’s tail moving the shark tail is perfect XD
Love the wagging shark tail.
It must be so frustrating to muster your biggest, scariest hiss only to have the humans giggle at how cute you are.
Love the mushroom table and chairs. Too cute. Maru does look quite comfy.
I’ve said it before – Kitten Miri is a pistol! Her fierce war on that mouse! Climbing so high on that tree!
Isn’t she though? I hope she never grows out of it.
