Just got back from lunch to an email that says, “If anyone know who the owner is of this car, please have them contact me. A kitten ran into their engine to hide.” 😮 (Apparently the owner has been identified and her supervisor is tracking her down.)

Allein, let us know about the kitten. I’m glad somebody took the situation seriously.
I’m going to assume they got it out. I looked outside a little after the email saying they had found the owner but I didn’t see anyone out there (though you can’t see the whole lot from the front window). I doubt I’ll hear anything but if I see the loss prevention guy I’ll ask him.
I’m just glad someone saw it.
Years ago I was coming back from lunch and in the stairwell was one of the warehouse managers and a guy from animal control, transferring a crying kitten from a box into a carrier. I would guess he wasn’t more than a few months old and looked a bit skinny; he had hitched a ride from parts unknown on a truck and they found him hiding between pallets when they were unloading it.
That looks like my old lady cat who is NOT enjoying her new little sister. Except less hissing, flying fur and mid air missile launching.
