We interrupt Cutetropolis to bring you this breaking news bulletin: After three days of tense negotiations, federal mediators have announced that an agreement in principle has been reached that will allow the dogs to have one foot on the cat bed. A spokesperson for the dogs called the news “encouraging” and hoped that it would lead to further bed-sharing agreements.
This is indeed a breakthrough. For there to be any further progress in bed-sharing, the dogs will have to strictly obey the currrnt protocol. Cats are unforgiving, as we know.
