Nights like this one, mate, when the moon is new and it’s pitch black in the forest, y’wanna keep to the main road, best stay where it’s well-lit. Locals say that’s when a spirit comes out of the woods, looking for unwary travelers. They say it’s got glowing eyes, a devilish grin, and a blood-curdling call that’ll freeze you right to the spot. So beware, lest you be spirited away by… The Ghost Wombat!

I might spirit him away first…
Aawww, whooza cutie wootie widdle ghosting wombat… huh? Iām supposed to be scared?
But he looks like a quokka! How can I be scared of something that adorable?
I would sell my soul to this adorable little demon for a cuddle!
I would like to volunteer to be taken away by the ghost wombat. I have a resume as an expert cuddler and references at the ready if that would help?
The way many people are acting out, all over the world, I wouldn’t mind being spirited away by this ghost wombat. A peaceful place of cuddling with wombats and hopefully other cuddly animals, one can only wish.
I like the snowflakes falling down, how does one do this?
Yeah, I’ve been dreaming of repatriating to Canada lately. Maybe Australia or the Island of Wombats and Quokkas would be better.
Well Australia and Wombat Island would be warmer than Canada, then again we have no poisonous snakes or big spiders so all and all I’ll rather have the cold and snow LOL!
The snowflakes are provided by an add-on function that I can install within WordPress (the software that manages this website).
What other visuals are available besides snowflakes? Kittens, puppies, bunnies…? One can dream….
The snowflakes are so soothing, I love them.
You had me at “Hewwo” !
Seriously – who are we kidding
