I saw the story about Boomer last week. Made my room a little dusty. I love that the nurse is able to bring him in to visit.

Yes, that is an extra special story. Very dusty. Very oniony.
I absolutely love “instant regret” doggo. ๐คฃ๐คฃ
And the lioness hugs…๐๐๐

Dog caught in the act reminds me of my Amber. Was making Christmas cookies one year and I put the cooling racks on the tallest counter in the kitchen. Turned around and found her stealing hot cookies right off the rack. I think that’s why I like the small “ankle-biters”, unless they have mad jumping skills, they usually don’t counter surf. Except for my Dobby, he found ways to get on a counter that would make a cat burglar proud When a dog is determined, nothing will stop them.
Anna/Alluka is just gorgeous, guess the old saying is true – the squeaky wheel gets the grease. So many small kittens have sass, wonder if it’s a survival technique to make sure they get enough food, etc. Now that nurse is going above and beyond, so happy she was able to help out her patient. Like Allein, my house is a little dusty this morning.
The tiny dog/high places thing has another upside: we would give Pablo baths in the kitchen sink (more of a shower with the sprayer), so if he managed to escape the basin, he was stuck on the counter with nowhere to go. No wet doggie running around the house. ๐

The small animals know how to speak up to get attention, and extra-small humans do, too. My daughter has a rare form of dwarfism, SMD, and is only 4 feet 2 inches. But let me tell you, she is about five times as assertive as I have *ever* been! My MIL was tiny, too, and the same thing. Anna/Alluka is just adorable, and has made sure there’s a place in the world for her — smart little girl!
I can’t imagine how distraught the man was when he found out his beloved pet was in the pound! His nurse is clearly one of the best, who’ll go above and beyond. What a lovely person!
And the counter surfer was doing a great job — although I would have paid good money to watch him try to open the gravy container! (Although if he does like dear Yoofi, he’d just chew a hole in it. Sigh…)
All in all, a lovely collection of stories this week!

Futon cats are hilarious–“why did you buy yourself such a small bed, hoomin?”
The nurse who cares for her patient’s dog is an angel. We need more folks like her in the world.
Regretful dog is only sorry he got caught.

I saw the nurse’s story yesterday and let me be clear what she did is truly great but all nurses do amazing things taking care every day of their patients and I don’t think they get the praise and respect they deserve.
Thank you to all the nurses out there!

Doggo with the Tupperware – I couldnโt resist that face. He can have whateverโs in there. And, pretty impressive how he got it without knocking anything onto the floor.

I was sure his regret was going to be ending up covered in flour from the container underneath that one but he did get it down so neatly. And I was very glad that the boys were looking the other way when I watched the making of the terrine for the kitties on the futon. Don’t want them to get ideas!
I thought the bottom container was mashed potatoes. The top looks like gravy to me (unless it’s just the way the light hits the container, when he tilts it the contents seem to shift like a thick liquid). Hope those lids are tight!

Just met the driving dog, kitten Anna, and the lioness who hugs her person. I would very much enjoy hugs from a lioness.
Aw, let him have the gravy.
