Dude, your nose boogers are touching my nose and I can smell them! Eeeewww.
Yin and yang, such cuties. Quiet weekend here, need to recuperate from a bus work week. Got projects to deal with around the house and maybe some shopping. Summer has finally arrived here and it will be in the 80s today so might jump in the pool later.
love these two. greetings and well wishes to everyone.
Greetings and well wishes to you as well!
So sweet!!!!
I would love to share some pics of my sweet Louie but I forget how to send Mike the pics. (I’m prejudiced of course but would love to see Mike caption my boy!)
Email them to submissions@cutetropolis.com
Thank you!
👍🏻
Gotta add more cute to the world!
The world needs more kitties touching noses.
🙏😁💕
Hear! Hear!
So cute! I wish my two would cuddle like that but altho they don’t mind each other they don’t cuddle.
Beans is doing OK, she’s not out of the woods yet but she’s acting more like her old self and she is eating a little more but unfortunately not the special kidney support food the vet sold us, she ate a little of it the first day but stopped after that.
I tried mixing it with a little sardines and also with her old kibbles but she’s a crafty one and eats around it. So she’s back eating her old kibble and I figure as long as she eats something it’s OK with me.
Have a good weekend everyone!!
Pretty good news. Can’t expect kittehs to cooperate.
At least she’s eating. Glad to hear Beans is more herself now.
Saturday greetings from Duckieville.
Cool wet weather contributing to aches and pains, but it’s okay. I’ll just curl up with these two.
It’s going to be a crafty weekend, as I begin learning how to work with resin. I’m starting by making tie clips for Father’s Day.
Speaking of fathers, my dad did something astonishingly out of character for him. He made a music CD of Duckie’s favourite songs! Her tiny tastes are very eclectic, from Bette Middler to Roxette, and my dad put them all on CD. Duckie spent over an hour joyfully singing along, and then needed a very long nap.
Have a great weekend, everyone.
That is such a wonderful story! It was lovely of your father and little Duckie’s joy and fun is such a great thing. You must be thrilled!
Duckie!! Such a great story. Love that he thought of doing that! 🎶😁
Aww, how sweet–although my inquiring mind is poking me to ask, which specific Roxette songs were included, if I can be nosy? (They were my favorite band when I was in high school, you see, many, MANY moons ago–I still have all their CDs and most of the memoriabilia I picked up at the time, though I don’t listen to it nearly as often these days as I once did…)
Also, while I’m here, I saw this recently and thought of you:
What other Roxette song would a vain budgie like?
“She’s Got the Look”.
Along with 500 Miles, Walking on Sunshine, Kokomo, Who’s Gonna Drive You Home, Orinoco Flow, and a dozen others.
LOL–you’re right, I probably should have guessed that.
My comment did not post earlier. I forget what it said. Something about starting the day with a headache and waiting for the advil and caffeine to kick in, which it has, mostly. Need to take a shower and do chores ‘n’ stuff. Hope everyone is having an okay day.
Happy Caturday, everybody! I’m not looking forward to the hot weather we’ve got in store, but at least errands are done for this weekend. Laundry will be a bear because somebody has been peeing on the bed. But beyond that, I can kick back with good audiobooks as I knit 7 more fingers on a pair of gloves, ply some peacock blue singles yarn, and weave a set of place mats in 13 colors.
Cuddly kitties are the best. It’s also great to hear that Beans is eating and lil Duckie has a mix tape to dance to. Hugs to you all.
As I think I’ve mentioned before, every summer my local park features a display of large wickerwork figures in the formal garden area. Last year the theme was Alice in Wonderland, this year it’s…dinosaurs! A T Rex, stegosaurus and velociraptor have taken up residence among the flowers, and although only the velociraptor is anything approaching life size they’re very effective.
I would love to see that sounds like fun!
Sounds fabulous!
Folks, I seem to have become a cat! I just want to sleep all day, even after a pretty good night’s sleep! Eat breakfast, nap, go get groceries, nap. (Have others encountered the phrase “making groceries”?) Good Thing I’m retired.
Glad to hear some things are looking up for some of us, and that Little Duckie is enjoying her mix-disk!
“Making groceries” — NOLA, amirite?
In Scotland it’s “doing the messages.”
One of the people I heard that from was from there, but the other was, I think, from rural Virginia or North Carolina.
