Some readers are reporting that visiting https://cutetropolis.com prompts them to download a file. This is due to an error by the web host that should be resolved soon. The file is harmless and you don’t need to download it. Check https://twitter.com/ntmtom/status/1541444098720251907 for updates.
I do apologize for the inconvenience. Teh Qte will return soon.
Will there be an update from Planetary Maintenance soon, then?
I just changed my bookmark to https://cutetropolis.com/?ref=lgo for the time being and that seems to work [it’s the link that I get from clicking on the Cutetropolis logo]
Update: This error can be corrected by clearing the browser’s cache or by visiting https://cutetropolis.com/?nocache=1 (or a similar link like what Andrew posted).
I realize that anyone who can read this has already corrected the issue on their computer, but perhaps this can be passed along to others.
Hmmm. Possibly calling the post Cute Underload confused the interwebs. Certainly confused me.
Oh good, it wasn’t me. I’ve been trying to get on website but kept getting download file and I hit it and all these files came up. I thought, oh no, I’ve gone where I shouldn’t have. Hopefully things will be back to the originally planned cute photos, videos and Mike’s special quirky comments/ stories.
The problem, whatever it is, cannot be permanently solved by simply clearing the cache. I did that yesterday evening, and could get into Cutetropolis. This morning, I could not, and was simply presented with save this file again. The only way I’ve been able to get in consistently is using /?ref=lgo after the Cutetropolis.com.
